Grey Knights : Finished !

Here are the finished Grey Knights I was working on for a friend as a gift. I must say that I'm not very pleased with them. I buyed a magnifiying glass (fixed on a lamp) for the highlights. It was my first time using this. Not only did I messed up some stuff because I wasn't used to it, but I saw 10 000 details I did wrong that I previously did not see ! At least now I've seen them, so next time there will be less and I will know where to look. I will always work with that thing now, it's magic ! It's like the glasses in ''They Live'' (1988).

Here are some pictures :

  1. They look great! Nice gift for a friend!

In the future would suggest some small dabs of black paint where the bolter barrels end (if you don't feel like drilling). Has a similar effect, and is really fast to do. You'd never notice either on the tabletop, but makes a difference when you take nice photos like these!

  2. Thank you ! My friend has a drill, I might have to try it.

  3. use an exact blade tip to make the starting divet. Makes it much easier. Also please test on a non painted model first. I'd hate to be the cause of damage to someone's beautiful model!
